Scheduled Maintenance of Confluent Cloud
On Friday, October 30 2026, at approximately 06:00 UTC, Confluent will perform routine maintenance on the Confluent Cloud network. No configuration or feature changes are involved.
What to expect during the scheduled maintenance period
Expected impact: A brief interruption of about ~2 minutes is anticipated, with full recovery within about 5 minutes.
- During the window, requests to manage networking resources through the Confluent Cloud UI, API or CLI may fail or time out. This includes creating, updating or deleting networks, peerings, Private Link, transit gateway attachments, access points and DNS records, and viewing some network details.
- Existing networks and data traffic are not affected. Kafka clients, Connect, Flink and other running workloads continue to operate normally.
- In-flight provisioning requests may be delayed by a few minutes but should be completed.
If the impact lasts longer than expected, Confluent will declare an incident and update the status page. https://status.confluent.cloud/
What can you do to reduce the impact
What customers should do: Nothing is required. If a networking request fails during the window, retry it after a few minutes. If any problems persist beyond the scheduled window then please create a support ticket with Confluent Support.
