Scheduled Maintenance of Confluent Cloud
On Feb 8th, 2025, from 16:00 to 18:00 UTC (8:00 AM to 10:00 AM PST), Confluent Cloud will undergo scheduled maintenance for an infrastructure upgrade. Once started, the maintenance will last approximately 2 hours. During this time, customers will NOT be able to create/update networking resources in Confluent Cloud. However, customers will be able to read and use existing networks, as this shouldn’t impact existing workloads.
What to expect during the scheduled maintenance period
This maintenance only impacts creations or changes to Network resources in Confluent Cloud. Existing networking resources and their configurations will continue to be available to read, monitor and use for Confluent Cloud applications. During this time, you can access your existing clusters and their metrics, and the flow of data to and from your producers and consumers will be unaffected.
You can reduce the impact by doing the following before the maintenance window:
- Plan your management operations and configuration changes to networking resources to occur before or after this maintenance window.
- If you have processes that rely on the networking APIs or other interfaces to update/create networking resources, make sure you take steps to mitigate their unavailability during the maintenance window. All services and operations will automatically be available once the maintenance is complete.
